The 5th International Symposium “Days of Human Reproduction” and “Ian Donald” Ultrasound School – “Ultrasound in Human Reproduction”

The 5th International Symposium “Days of Human Reproduction” and “Ian Donald” Ultrasound School – “Ultrasound in Human Reproduction” were held from 13th to 15th of April in 2018 in Tuzla.

The main leader of the organization was the Association for Ultrasound in Medicine, “Ian Donald” Tuzla, B&H.

The subjects of this year’s Symposium were the following: endocrinology in human reproduction, ultrasound diagnostics and infertility, surgery and infertility, medically assisted procreation, and embryology in human reproduction.

ZADA Pharmaceuticals was one of the sponsors and participants of the event.

ZADA Pharmaceuticals provided support for an athlete, Tomislav Cvitanušić in his mission to climb Denali, the coldest mountain in the world and the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 6,190 m above sea level.

X Jubilee Symposium of Masters of Pharmacy of FB&H

X Jubilee Symposium of Masters of Pharmacy of FB&H was held from 11th to 13th of May in 2018 in Neum. The subject of the Symposium was “Pharmacist’s Role in Mental Health Care”.

During the Symposium, participants discussed the most common mental disorders and diseases, their effect on the life quality of patients and families, and treatment. They also discussed social stigma and discrimination which are following these conditions, and the role of medical workers, especially pharmacists, in attending to such patients.

The 1st Symposium of Children and Adolescent Psychiatry of Bosnia and Herzegovina with participation at the international level

The 1st Symposium of Children and Adolescent Psychiatry of Bosnia and Herzegovina with participation at the international level named “Neglect and other problems of children and youth in modern society: physiological consequences” was held on 6th and 7th of July in 2018 in Tuzla. The Symposium was international and the lecturers were experts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, region, and Europe. During the Symposium, they presented the research regarding children and adolescent psychiatry.

Tuzla Reanimation Summer School

Reanimation Summer School is a project which encompasses education and examination of BLS/AED (Basic Life Support/Automated External Defibrillator) for students of Medical University of Tuzla. The leader of the program was the Students’ Association of Medical University of Tuzla called Medicus. The project was supported by Medical University of Tuzla and the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).

Apart from education and examination, the practice was presented to the citizens as well.

The 8th Congress of Cardiologists and Angiologists of B&H and the 4th Congress of Male and Female Nurse Practitioners of B&H with participation at the international level

The 8th Congress of Cardiologists and Angiologists of B&H and the 4th Congress of Male and Female Nurse Practitioners of B&H with participation at the international level was held in Sarajevo, from 20th to 23rd of September in 2018.

There were more than 500 congress participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, region and the world. During the Congress, participants presented new advancements and shared their experiences regarding cardiology.
