Active ingredients:
One film-coated tablet contains:

• 200 mg Alpha lipoic acid (Thioctic acid).

Mechanism of action:
Alpha lipoic acid neutralizes the harmful effects of free radicals as a universal antioxidant. Alpha lipoic acid also plays a role in recycling other important antioxidants such as Vitamins C and E, increases levels of glutathione and coenzyme Q10 and helps in detoxification of the body. It protects the retina and lens of the eye from degeneration caused by free radicals. This antioxidant directs calories into energy production, reduce insulin resistance and significantly promotes the absorption of glucose in the cells, supports normal blood sugar levels and supports the nervous system.

Indications:
Diabetes and conditions with elevated blood sugar level, diabetic neuropathy with symptoms (pain, burning, tingling the skin of the limbs), retinopathy (non-inflammatory damage to the retina) and cardiomyopathy (disease of the heart failure), and as supplement to the daily diet, especially for people over 40.

Directions for use:
It is recommended to take 1 tablet per day, half an hour before breakfast.
