ZADA Pharmaceuticals is one of the leading companies for medicine production in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The factory is located in Bistarac Donji bb Lukavac, near to the city of Tuzla.
ZADA Pharmaceuticals is a company with 100% domestic capital, therefore the complete production and quality control are done at our own plants. All our products are developed as a result of our work and development.
ZADA Pharmaceuticals was established in 2007. In 2008. the equipping of the manufacturing plant for the production of solid pharmaceutical dosage forms was completed and the laboratory for quality control officially started working.
The company received permission for production on 23th of February in 2010 by the Agency of Medicinal Products and Medical Devices.
The first ZADA Pharmaceutical medicines were on the market in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the same year.
Nowadays, aside from the B&H market, ZADA Pharmaceuticals products are also found in the markets in the southern Balkans, the Middle East, and North Africa. There are numerous ZADA Pharmaceuticals representative locations established in various markets.
The company is equipped with the newest machines for production and control of solid pharmaceutical dosage forms: tablets, capsules, granules, and coated tablets, which are produced in adherence to all standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
ZADA Pharmaceuticals currently offers a wide range of products today, which includes more than 150 medicines.
We develop medicines from 9 ATC groups: medicines for digestive tract and metabolism, blood pressure medicines, medicines for the cardiovascular and genitourinary system, antibiotics, antiparasitics, and medicines for the musculoskeletal, nervous, and respiratory system.
Apart from ZADA Pharmaceuticals medicines, there is also a line regarding food supplements named MAXIMA in our production range.

The factory has 181 employees, out of which 67% refers to the personnel with a college degree, while the average age range is 35 years.
